Those are great! I actully cleaned out the background on the first one and made a paper doll of it for myself. Full Metal Alchemist is one of my favorite animes. Ed is my favorite character.

Why don't you post the orginal and the costumes?

hmmm... maybe i should do that, so others may have one too. but i'd have to figure out how to do that, the red jacket was so difficult to make, 'cause its two seperate pieces, and the part you see inbetween his legs is another piece i just taped to the back (it's also very difficult to put on him).

It would be easiest to make each outfit one piece. Natural areas for tabs would be the bend of the left arm, the left shoulder, the head, the right shoulder (you'd have to make a cut where the braid touches the shoulder, but the tab could be slid underneath, and the braid/shoulder connection would help hold the tab.), the right arm, both right and left waist/chest, and right and left legs.

It worked! I took the pic of Ed in the red jacket --the first one on the bottom row-- and did it like I did the doll (without his head, of course). I then put tags on his shoulders, and along the right arm. (The tag on his right shoulder goes under the braid, which is slit between the braid and the shoulder. This helps hold the tag onto the doll.)

And it fits!

I am now trying the same trick with the last outfit in the second row (the one with the sword and the black outfit, but without the red jacket.) Wish me luck with this one, too.

Fun idea XD the only one that fault is the last black jacket he use in the series....
